3. Hydraulic Headbox - Full-Flow
- Full-flow hydraulic headbox is the main type of modern hydraulic headbox, uses stationary hydraulic elements as the dispersion device for slurry, usually called a turbulence generator – composed of irregularly-interception tube. The interior of the headbox is stationary pass with no open surfaces such as air cushion, spray, overflow, etc.
- When high-speed pulp through a turbulence generator, high- strength micro turbulence and appropriately sized turbulence are generated based on hydraulic principles, distributing pulp evenly.
- The pulp flow in MD direction is stable and no CD flow, so the CD profile of paper basic weight can be adjusted by adjusting the pulp consistency in CD direction, achieving better results than using a micro-adjusting rod to change the slice opening. This is CD Basic Weight profile control system.
- The paper machine speed can be 250-2000m/min, which can be used for Fourdrinier, Gap-former, and Crescent Former
