Improving dewatering capacity: Compared to slot cover, it can increase the opening area, thereby improve dewatering efficiency and increase service life of felt. Compared to slot cover, felt is not sucked into the open area, so there is no additional tension. It can also provide good support for the entire width of felt, thereby reducing the friction between the cover and felt.

Reducing energy consumption: Due to the increase in opening area and dewatering efficiency, cover of the same shape can reduce vacuum and air extraction by up to 50% compared to slot cover.
